Matt Gillis

Matt was born in South Lake Tahoe and has always lived a stone’s throw from a ski resort, which is what eventually brought him and his family to the area. Sandpoint became home in the late 90s where he attended 8th grade on through High School, graduating in 2002. Matt attended Eastern Washington University where he studied Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Economics. Matt’s passion for skiing has always kept him close to home and an opportunity with Coldwater Creek upon graduation made perfect sense. While the tenure at Coldwater Creek was cut short, he found a unique and challenging opportunity with Kochava which is where you’ll find him today. As the VP of Product Operations, he spends his days (and nights) supporting the continued growth of the Kochava product and client base along with providing leadership to his team of 35+ around the world. Matt and his skiing achievements are wide reaching from heli-ski photoshoots, to the “Outrageous Air Shows,” but most importantly are synonymous with the success of the 24 Hours for Hank foundation. Matt has been an active board member for nearly 12 years and has helped to raise over $1.2 million for Cytinosis research. He is the incredibly proud husband of Shantelle who teaches 3rd grade at Northside Elementary and has been a LPOSD teacher for over a decade. He is also the even more incredibly proud father of his two daughters Avalon and Ashlyn who attend school at Northside Elementary.
