Tom Albertson

Tom Albertson is a retired educator after 32 years working for Lake Pend Oreille School District. This includes 23 years as a mathematics teacher, three years as activities director, two years as assistant principal, five years as principal, all at Sandpoint High School, finishing his career as Superintendent of LPOSD. Tom was born in Sandpoint, Idaho attended school at Northside Elementary and Sandpoint High School, graduating in 1982. His post-secondary degrees were earned from the University of Idaho including a B.S. in Secondary Education, M.Ed. in Educational Leadership, and an ED.S. in Educational leadership. Currently, Tom lives on a family operated cattle ranch with his wife Cindy, which was established by his grandfather in 1916. Tom and Cindy, who is a retired elementary school teacher and high school counselor, have two sons and six grandchildren.
