Marcia Wilson served as the Panhandle Alliance (PAFE) Executive Director from 2005-2021, following an extensive career in international product management in the software industry. After retirement from PAFE, Marcia and her husband, Charles, moved to Arizona to be snowbirds, returning every summer to their lake side cabin to enjoy everything Sandpoint has to offer.
As executive director, Marcia championed the most enduring gift to our children – a great education. She led the development of fundraising, community engagement and educational programs serving the students in the Lake Pend Oreille School District. During her tenure at PAFE, she accepted multiple awards on behalf of the organization, including Outstanding Public Service Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and the Friend of Education Award from the Idaho Education Association.
Marcia has two children that attended Lake Pend Oreille schools and graduated from Sandpoint High School. Both have found great success, Cristina in the business world and Barry in the U.S. Air Force.
