Hannah Vollmer was born and raised in Olympia, Washington where she studied Sustainable Business at Lewis and Clark College and Evergreen State College, graduating in 2012. Since then, Hannah has worked in the Outdoor Industry, first as a buyer for an outdoor shop and later as a sales representative. She has always had a strong desire to be a part of a small community and to live in a mountain town, and in 2016 convinced her now husband, Zach, to move to Sandpoint. They are the proud owners of the Alpine Shop in Sandpoint, and love being a part of this community. When she’s not helping others get outfitted for their adventures, she enjoys getting out on her own adventures. Whether it’s backcountry skiing, mountain biking, skate skiing, hiking, or camping, she loves to be outdoors. Hannah is excited to continue to engage with the Sandpoint community in a meaningful way, and involvement with the Panhandle Alliance for Education gives her that opportunity.
