Amy graduated from WTAMU with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science. She enjoyed serving as Executive Co-Director of The Downtown Athletic Club in Amarillo, Texas for many years before moving to Denver, Colorado. As a certified personal trainer, she began her own business in the mile-high city and worked with a diverse range of clients on fitness and nutrition plans. Moving to Sandpoint in late 2009 with three young children ignited a desire to have a positive impact on their future educations. Amy began working for Panhandle Alliance for Education in January 2014 as a way to see that desire make a difference in our local public schools. She currently serves as Director of Resource Development and Events and enjoys seeing a community come together to support kids and education. Amy and her husband, Jameson, love spending time with their three active boys.
