Travis Kaul, chief banking officer for Columbia Bank and its affiliates, has been with the bank since 1999. With a career in banking as his goal, Travis graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis on banking and marketing. He went on to graduate from Pacific Coast Banking School in Bellevue, Washington. He moved to the Sandpoint area to pursue his banking career in 1995, where he first started with West One Bank before joining Panhandle State Bank (now Columbia Bank). He currently oversees all production-related areas of the bank, including lending, deposits, and investments.
Travis’ commitment to Panhandle Alliance for Education stems from personal experience – his two children attend local schools – and from a firm belief that strong schools equal strong business in a community. While he supports all aspects of Panhandle Alliance, he is truly a “numbers person” who enjoys his time spent on the Finance Committee – making sure that PAFE has the funds it needs to continue its mission in our community.
